This was a single-tire test hosted by Bridgestone. Other tires were not available for testing. You start seeing brand-to-brand comparisons in the coming months.

Comment on Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 Tire Review by Oscar https://ridermagazine.com/2024/05/20/bridgestone-battlax-hypersport-s23-tire-review/#comment-1529626 Fri, 24 May 2024 20:11:10 +0000 https://ridermagazine.com/?p=78274#comment-1529626 While I appreciate the review, and it’s good to know the S23’s are as good as or superior to the S22’s, what I’d really like to know is how they compare to the competition. How well do the S23’s perform relative to other brands’ equivalent tires? Brand beginning with M, the brand beginning with D, the brand beginning with P… etc. Do the S23’s last longer or wear quicker? Are the S23’s stickier or less sticky than the others? Do the S23’s offer easier or harder turn-in on cornering? Are the S23’s better in the wet vs the others, or worse, or about the same?

Thomas, in the article Steve mentions he had to skip California, Oregon, and Washington due to time constraints because of his unplanned surgery during the beginning of the tour. As he mentions in the story, unexpected things happen and he always has a Plan B. The map shows his route through the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, which is where part of PA Route 6 (U.S. Route 6) is located (it runs across the entire northern [art of Pennsylvania, from border to border).

Anyway, I’m hoping to copy this ride although not for charity, and will probably do it in 3 separate journeys.
How many tire and oil changes on the trip?

Tremors in his hands and jaw are gone. It doesn’t make the Parkinson’s go away but it did give him better quality of life.

Comment on BMW Motorrad Unveils Automated Shift Assistant by KPM https://ridermagazine.com/2024/05/13/bmw-motorrad-unveils-automated-shift-assistant/#comment-1529122 Wed, 22 May 2024 19:09:31 +0000 https://ridermagazine.com/?p=78236#comment-1529122 Guys, easy now……. the automatic shift assist may not be for you, or me. Just buy the bike with the regular clutch and shifter. There are plenty of people who this option will appeal to and even some that it will make a difference between riding and not riding due to health or movement or pain issues with their left hand or foot. This provides an another option for those that want or need it; it does not force anything on you or me. 🙂

I had a 76 bran new. Had it for 30 years no carb. issues. Perhaps you have a rusting gas tank issue.
