The a blast best ride had, it’s a hybrid bike part super Moto ,part road bike which = super fun in city traffic
I changed the gearing as 1st gear is very tall as on most road bikes but for my style dirt bike background / road racing
It’s easy ……
by replacing the front sprocket 1 tooth smaller .changes the mood from a tourer to a racer it just slingshots off the lights without having load the revs / clutch , making effortless fast launch start , close ratio gearbox feel for city streets
Matched to its great handling / braking ability it’s a unique bike , very happy .
Never had any issues what so ever and highly recommend to try.

The problem was in it’s reliability, I ended up exercising my states Lemon Law, and shortly afterwards the local dealer dropped the brand.
I would consider a new Shiver, but local dealers have signed off on Piaggio, so………….

But I think I’ll keep my Gladius 650V for half the price. Might not have all the electronics but you couldn’t ask for a better V motor. Not to say if I had more money to burn I wouldn’t at least give one a test ride.

To many great competitors in that class range by other manufacturers. Man you have to love all the choices we have today. The six to eight hundred class has been my choice for a long time for sport-touring. Thanks a lot manufacturers. 🙂
